DynaFlex Privacy Policy

(Revised August 9, 2019)

DynaFlex is a dental/orthodontic manufacturing laboratory.  DynaFlex is strongly committed to protecting the right of privacy for the patients who use our products, the dentists/orthodontists who do business with us and the general users of this website.  We understand individuals have rights to privacy and concerns about the security and integrity of data.  Therefore, we do not share any personally identifiable information submitted through the forms, email links or portals on this site with any entity outside DynaFlex unless we are authorized to do so or we are required to do so by law.  We will only use and disclose the information you provide to us as stated in our Privacy Policy.  Your use of this website constitutes your consent to our collection, use, maintenance, disclosure, transfer and processing of personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

This policy applies to information we collect on this website, in email, text and other electronic messages between you and this website and through desktop applications you download from this Website.  It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from the website.

Use and disclosure of health information includes using the information to manufacture medical devices for treatment by your dentist/orthodontist, to make payments for such devices and to conduct ongoing quality improvement activities.  DYNAFLEX DOES NOT ENGAGE IN THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE.

Our use and disclosure of an individual’s personal information (including protected health information) is limited as required by federal and state law.  We do not sell or rent personal information about visitors to this site or customers who use the site to do business with us.

In general, you can visit our website without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself.  However, for our customers (dentists/orthodontists) to do business with us, information about the dental/orthodontic practice as well as dental/orthodontic images and prescriptions permit us to manufacture the medical device necessary.

The website has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control.  These measures include encryption of data using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) system or Transport Layer Security (TLS) encrypted segment using high-grade encryption with no less than 128-bit key strength. DynaFlex supports SSL 3.0 and TLS, which are the same encryption protocols and algorithms used by e-commerce services and online banking.  Our web portals transmit patient information securely via HTTPS.  We also provide individual password protected logins for the dentist/orthodontist practices who use certain aspects of our site.  Such customers are not to share their passwords with anyone.  Despite these measures, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to or from us via this site by Internet or email cannot be 100% guaranteed.  Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.  We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on this website.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion as we add new features, as laws change that may affect our business or as we may otherwise deem necessary.  If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy, we will post notice of this on our website.  Any revised Privacy Policy will apply both to information we already have about you at the time of the change, and any personal information created or received after the change takes effect.  The top of this page shows the date it was last updated.  We encourage you to periodically reread this Privacy Policy, to see if there have been any changes to our policies that may affect you. Your continued use of this website and/or continued relationship with DynaFlex after the posting or notice of a revised Privacy Policy shall constitute your agreement to be bound by any such changes.

We collect and log the IP address of each visitor to gather aggregate data on visitors to our site and how our site is being used.  We do not associate IP addresses with any personally identifiable information.  These logs may contain: the internet domain from which you access the site (such as aol.com etc); the IP address which is automatically assigned to your computer when you get on the internet (a static IP address may be identifiable as being connected to you, while a dynamic address is not usually identifiable); the type of browser and operating system you use; the date and time you visited the site; the pages you viewed on the site; and, the address of the website you linked from, if any.  If you sign on to this website to use its secured features, our web logs will also contain an individual identifier and show the services that you have accessed.  All web logs are stored securely and may only be accessed by DynaFlex or its information technology and marketing experts on a need-to-know basis.  DynaFlex uses web log information to help us design our website, estimate our audience size and usage patterns, identify popular features, speed up your searches, store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our website according to your individual interests, recognize you when you return to the website, resolve user hardware and software problems and to make the site more useful to visitors.
